The Post Office Truck that parks in front of Sweetbay at LSL on Tuesdays and Thursdays has been missing for the past few weeks. The rumor mill has been speculating that this service might have been discontinued. I learned this morning that the truck will be back but not sure when.

Apparently, there are only two postal workers who are qualified to work the truck. About two weeks ago, both their spouses had to be admitted to the hospital in serious condition. One passed away this morning. I heard all this from one of the clerks at The Villages Post Office and she just found out recently. The Post Office didn't think to keep her or Sweetbay in the loop. Very sad...
