Default Summer Kitchen Grill Repair Needed

Help! I"ve called 9 different places and can't find someone to repair my Vermont Castings grill igniters. Do you know of someone who does this work?

I did it myself a couple of years but you need the replacement part from Vermount. It was easy to replace.

Sadly I've been told Vermont is going out of business. Their voice mail system directs you to their website and the website doesn't provide any solutions. I need a "guy" who can create the solution without Vermont parts.

OK, I may be able to help, however, I am tied up for the next week or so. Send me a PM, and we can swap phone numbers. Also, most of the newer grills used AA battery powered ignitors, I am guessing these are fairly universal, so with any luck all we will need to do is find a source for the igniter. I will be glad to help with this, or with the actual installation.

Thanks all! I found lots of parts sources (should have just turned to Google to start) and a "guy" who says he knows his way around grill repair---will let you know.

There is, or was, a dealer in Ocala. Sounds like a new battery in the ignitor might solve the problem.
