Default Free House Sitting

Husband (retired engineer who likes to fix stuff) and wife willing to house sit for free, if can park 20 foot camper van in your driveway and obtain TV activity passes from you (we like square dancing and line dancing). Like most Florida visitors, our interest is most keen in January through March. It seems a van in the driveway might create a lived in appearance and improve security. All details can be worked out. Call or text anytime on 703-957-0604.

Motor homes can only be parked in driveways for a total of three days if I remember correctly.

Yep, Gracie is right again. There is a 72 hour limit - and neighbors WILL call it in!

Come on folks, this was their first post. Give them a break. They want to come to The Villages and were trying to find a way to make it work.

So welcome to TOTV Rob and Jeanne. And please don't let your first impressions cloud your view of the Villages. There really are some nice people here.

And perhaps if you go to the web site for house sitting you may find something close by that could work. And if not, another low cost way to do it, is rent for a month during the low season, May through September.

Good luck and I hope you do still give The Villages a try.

you know, someone with pets who wanted to take an extended trip might be interested in something like that. free pet and house sitting....please don't jump on them....I subscribe to the adage "you might as well ask" because you never know

I agree. Your response, 12r, was warm and welcoming. Not that the others were wrong....because there is a 72-hour limit....but they sounded a bit terse and cold.

And if there's anyone who knows about cold, it would be me. It was about zero degrees here in Swimdawg North.

Here is a link to a RV Resort close to the villages. You can rent there and still come over to the villages and visit the squares nightly. They also have square dancing, pools and many activities over there to enjoy.

Click on this link and click on the photo gallery: Recreation Plantation RV Resort | A Place To Call Home
