Here's a question for those of you who have an Amarillo:
If you had your lanai glassed in and/or had your front porch screened or glassed in how much did it cost and who did you use? Thanks for sharing. Dirigo

we don't own anything close to an amarillo, but we have replaced our lanai windows with acryllic [was told that glass would revise the tax records and increase same - so we went to the acryllic].
we used cook aluminum/thumper's retractable garage screen doors, 352 342 7809. am sure you will get lots of recommendations, and you should follow through with at least a few of them for a price comparison, i strongly recommend you include this business in the comparison.

We were going to enclose our Amarillo lanai with glass but the prices were around $7-8K. Instead we got floor to ceiling acrylic sliders for $4100 from Martin Aluminum in Leesburg. We have a North-facing lanai so used the gray tint instead of the bronze tint, which is darker. Very well-made, quiet. We, and the cat, just love it. Wish we would have done it sooner. When the inspector came by he agreed that this company does a superior job. Had to give a $1000 deposit. They took care of the permit, plans for the ARC committee, etc. Ph# is 352-347-6036.
