Default U-Pick tomato...or buy

Just got back from the tomato field, which is just off 466 on the West end of Wal-mart. They taste so much better than buying them at the farm market, but of course, no tomato can compare with Northern ones.

West end of Walmart...do you take a road next to it?? Curious on how to get there. I agree the tomatoes "up north" are oh.so.much better!

On 466, headed west, as you pass Wal-Mart the right lane is marked for a right turn only. Off of that lane past Wal-Mart is a road on the right that brings you to the u-pick field and the former golf driving range.

We went there last Wednesday for the 1st time. Primarily they have tomatoes and quite a few of them. Last week most of them were green. Cost was 40 cents a pound or a 25lb box for $10. A woman working there told us if we bring our own bags they take $1 off the price. We did get a small amount of green peppers and cukes also. Or they do sell off of a stand if you do not want to pick, have no idea of those prices.
