Default Brownwood Drug Bust

If I missed it I apologize, but I didn't see anything about a female bartender being taken out in handcuffs from the Las Tapas restaurant in Brownwood. Under cover police took her right from behind the bar. Has anybody read anything on this. They said she was selling meth amphetamine while she was working.

Good.

Out the door.

I am sure that it will be in the news....somewhere soon.

Did she have tattoos?

I saw a couple pictures of forty-somethings arrested here in The Villages in the past months on the not named online news. VERY DARK AROUND THE EYES...

I guess the arrest, if true, answers that question. But the "customers" could be from outside TV---a restaurant in Brownwood is a pretty good place to sell, I doubt the narcotics police are staking out Las Tapas expecting to bust seniors on meth. Maybe some pot for glaucoma or chemotherapy, maybe some oxycodone for chronic pain, but METH????????. Hardly the drug of choice for boomers and older.

I saw those photos as well, GG. Regular meth users develop sores on their faces and what is known as "meth mouth". Their teeth appear "wooden" and they start to lose them. Ugh! https://images.search.yahoo.com/imag...B05Dt&fr=aaplw

We were at Las Tapas on Tuesday to see the singing waiters (dont miss them on Tuesday and Thursday) ----we waited a long time for our drinks

The waiter told us the barmaid was arrested !!! Excuse me maybe Barmaid was incorrect ! I meant the alleged female drug dealer

My mother would be pleased to know I don't know what meth is. No need to tell me. I would google it if I wanted to know.

Be serious people I think you would be surprised how many meth labs that are in and around the villages. I would imagine you could get anything here you are willing to pay for. Money draws the corrupted.

When my son lived with us he served at Arnold Palmers. He worked with many young servers. One of them told Ryan that there are many Villagers who used drugs of many kinds, and not for physical abnormalities. They sell them in the parking spot behind Barnes and Nobles. If you think about it anywhere there is a multitude of people living, there will be a multitude of attitudes regarding drugs. In the Villages alcohol is the drug of choice. Just because it is a legal drug goes not mean it it to be over used like it often is here.
