I know that no other topic on this forum has elicited more comments and passion than Lawn Maintenance. So much so that it is hard to filter out specific questions so let me ask a few straight questions.

I have used the same Lawn Maintenance service for the past 2 years. I like them because I don’t pay an advance contract but am billed monthly. But have some concerns that I don’t want go into. Since I have been down here they have not shown up one time since January 1st. I know that the lawn isn’t growing right now but I was billed every month.

1. Is this normal to pay during dormant periods?

2. Does anyone have a recommendation for a Lawn Maintenance service that bills monthly and can do occasional shrub trimming and lay down pine straw.

My service was very specific in telling me they would not be mowing weekly during the dormant time. Talk to your service before you give up on them.

I have no contract and pay monthly. They come every week like clockwork. Even when they don't mow (which is most of the time in the winter) they trim or edge or pull weeds or weed kill the beds or blow and clean up or any combination. B & B III Home Services, 352-561-4449.
