Default Fruit for back home

hello again, my last question from my list complied for this internet outing.
I would like to take home fruit for the dog/cat sitter. Where is the best place to buy fresh fruit (oranges/grapefruit) near The Villages? Thanks again

The citrus we have been getting at the Market of Marion has been terrific. Much less expensive than what I have seen on the corner stands.

The Market at Marion IS GREAT for fresh produce. Prices are the best around and you can taste the goods. We used to get stung with high prices and occasionally poor quality on the corner stands, including 466/301. Live & learn!

I agree... the Market of Marion usually is the cheapest around and their fruit vendors have the freshest fruit... and like a previous post stated, you can taste samples.

we bought some at 466 and 301 and I was disappointed some to be honest

really juicy but not very sweet,

might try it again, but this time (Nov 1) it wasn't that great,
we gave some to friends and we were disappointed

buy a little , try it, then buy a lot , maybe it was just the season
