We like Kane's in Ocala. Many pieces are in stock and are delivered in just a few days. They also have an amazing furniture warranty of lifetime on the fabric and mechanism.

We shopped all over and went to Orlando - Hudson's - great prices and quality furniture and huge selection. We had the best salesman Cyrus - if you go - visit the one on east colonial - much larger selection than the one on West Colonial.

And free delivery and excellent customer service. They even have one day a week they will come and hang pictures for you. We didn't need to take advantage of that, so I don't remember the requirements, but if you are alone and maybe need a little help, it's a great free service.

Good deals in the clearance room, too. It's small, but if you just need "something"...not a full set, you might find it there.

Yes - free delivery - I think they come to TV every 2 weeks.

I also used Babettes for a lot of my furniture. Both they & Kane's also gave Village discounts.

We just bought couch/chair for living room----a new table and 4 chairs for our breakfast nook area. Went to furniture stores in Leesburg, etc., but ended up at Showcase Direct (the Village Store) Their prices were comparable to others we saw for items we wanted. The great thing about them is that they will pick up your old furniture (that you are replacing) at the same time that they bring in your new furniture at no extra charge. They donate it---the only difference is that you don't get a "tax receipt" but just the ease of picking up and delivering from the same company without having to coordinate a pickup from charity, etc., was so easy.

we just had hudsons from altamonte springs (same thing as Orlando) deliver two different shipments to TV for free. Both things were on sale-- and the special was ___% and free delivery.

We very much like Southern Lifestyles and Showcase Direct, both owned by Sumter Inc. They will match prices and they do have excellent sales people and very careful deliverers, and Babettes, who will work with you and have helpful sales people with excellent interior design sense.

Also don't forget Ikea in Orlando for some simple and pretty coffee tables if you are doing white beachy. And TJMaxx has some great lamps sometimes as does Kirklands who have some really good mirrors and picture. Also Pier One and Kohls both too on campus. Sometimes even Walmart will surprise you with some simple desks and end tables as does Target.
