Default FYI Air Conditioning/Electric costs

We have a patio villa that faces south. The AC is set at 76 degrees 24/7. I run two small landscape lights (dusk to dawn) and a AC powered attic fan. Dryer is gas. Very little other other use
The bill for the period of May 19-June 18 was $120.86
The next bill I suspect will be higher due to the unseasonably hot weather for that period of time. (So the locals tell me)
If this gives anyone an idea of humidistat use VS in residence use, take it for what it's worth
Handie

Refrig?
TV?
Microwave?
Computer?
Inside lights?
Garage Door Opener?
Small Tools?
etc?

Our bill for our unused 1750 SF home with AC set at 82 degrees was $65 (last summer it was about $20 set at 83 degrees)

For our similarly sized home the cost was $34 with a dehumidistat set at 60%.

We have an unused Whispering Pine with air conditional set to 80 and dehumidistat set at 60%. Our electric bills have been $28 and $56 for the last two months.

This is very interesting. Let's hear from more folks who are snow birds and who have a dehumidistat. What is the approx sq ft of your home, what are your a/c and dehumidistat settings and what was your last electricity bill? I'm wondering why (from previous posts) the big dollar differences in comparables.

Yes it is interesting. Our house is also a Whispering Pine with about 1700sq/ft. As I said previously our last bill was $34 and the previous one was $28 with the dehumidistat at 60% and the temp at 80. We have a neighbor here in Maine that has a Camilia in Winifred and there bill was $90 with no dehumidistat. So as of now we are happy we had one installed.

Default dehumidistat

dehumidistat ????

How much does it cost and what does it look like? I am guessing it measures the humidity in the house and runs the A/C based on that need rather than temp.
