Never gave it a thought. If someone wants to break into my particular home, they will find a way to do it regardless. I have one that has been velcroed to the inside roof of my golf cart for 8 years. No one has ever bothered with it.

Is that your professional medical opinion or are you just being snarky?

Giving the benefit of a doubt, rain may not cause a heart attack but it could lead to a slip and fall situation. Walking in the rain, even for 30 seconds, would be unnecessary if a garage door remote was in the golf cart, which was the original question.
