Default Garage door slider screen material

Does anyone know where I may buy the opaque white screen and spline material for my garage door slider screens? I checked at Pat's supply and they don't have it. White's aluminum wants me to bring the sliders in for an estimate. I'm wanting to do it my self as I've replaced my soft vinyl lanai windows and got the material at Pat's. So far Amazon hasn't been much help. TIA.

I believe I saw various colored screening at ACE (Wildwood store, back right corner of the store). I do not recall looking at the spline, however I did see that recently at Lowes (466a). One a side note ACE does do screen replacement, but the garage door sliders may be too large.

Don,

Just found this on Amazon: (I used 'white screen door mesh' as the search)

Amazon.com

Thanks VillageTinker. I'll look into it. I'm not sure I used the proper term earlier. I like the white screens we have because from inside looking out is great but looking in from outside is limited.

Not what you asked..... but if you change your mind and decide to have it done - I used a nice young guy who was very good at what he does. Did our 4 panel sliding garage screen with the white opaque screen. I worked up a sweat just watching that day it was so hot.

Home Depot will have what you need. I'm going to be doing my garage door slider screens and got everything, including the spline roller, there. I'm going with heavy duty nylon screen, something called "Glas-Shield", charcoal-grey. A 25' roll x 36" wide should do me if I don't screw things up.

The guys there were pretty helpful, made sure I got the proper spline and tool.

I didn't know they had screens that were hard to see through from the outside. Wow. I'll have to check that out myself. And I'm envious of you doing the work, it's so satisfying to get that screen material in the grooves! Hope you find the material you need, and enjoy!

We did ours and got the white screen material from White's Aluminum. They should also have the spline. You may want to take a piece of spline with you for the correct size.

I may consider that option. I just like doing things myself if I can.

Hmm. That's odd. I may try them again. The first time I tried they would not sell me the material. Thanks.
