![]() Reminds me of our next door neighbor when we lived up north. There was a elementary school directly across the street from our house and teachers only were permitted to park on that side of the street on school days. This woman, over a period of a couple years hit (that I actually saw the aftermath of) 3 cars on 3 different occasions as she backed out of her driveway. As a gag her husband put a large bullseye target on one car that was parked there when he left for work. Maybe a big "X" in red tape on your screen would help! ![]()

I haven't done anything to my garage, but I don't think it has had a negative effect on my car. I am curious as to what benefit to the car you think you will provide by lowering the garage temperature? Most people in the country don't even have a garage, so their cars are exposed to the outside weather 24/7.

I paid $200 plus $100 delivery and installation on a pre-owned sliding garage door screen. What a bargain! Since my washer and dryer are out there it has been wonderful. Without the screen it was simply sweltering in the summer. It still gets hot but not nearly as bad. Also I like being able to go in the garage and see my neighbor’s lovely landscaping instead of the inside of the garage door. It’s especially great when the weather is nice.

Pls tell me who installed the garage fan and how much did it cost you. I agree with you 100% this could be the best we can do to lower the garage temp.
