Neither. Trash is picked up twice a week. Only one bag for us/pickup. If there is more - cardboard etc, we just set it aside until pickup day.

Because we have a breezeway to put the extra trash.

We don't generate enough trash to require a bin.

On the rare occasion that we need a second bag, we just store the first one in the garage for a day or two.

In garage for us. We actually rarely go out to eat so generate little more trash than ones don’t cook…….at all
