Default Garbage pickup old tv

I have an old 27 inch cathode ray TV. Just replaced it with new LED model
Will garbage pickup an old tv if I leave it at end of driveway
I live in Marion county in The Villages

I suspect not. CRT TVs are considered toxic waste. We had to take ours to Sumter's toxic waste pickup. They wouldn't take it at the electronic waste collection at Winn-Dixie a few months ago either. .

Check with Marion county waste for information on toxic waste disposal. Also check with Best Buy to see if they'll take it.

Chances are that if you leave your old television at the end of your drive, it will get picked up very quick. Mine was gone in less than one hour!

They didn't pick up mine until I called and then it was picked up.

If it's not a flat screen the unofficial scavengers don't want it. Flat screens go quickly.

Perhaps put the CRT TV out front with a big sign "Free Fatscreen TV!"

Best Buy will take your old TV, I have dropped off several at different places I lived in Missouri.

Yes, Best Buy on 441 will take any TV that's 60" or less. Just get a cart, bring it up to the front desk and they'll take it off your hands!
