A workman came to the door of our new house today to ask a quick question when the garbage recycle people came by. The workmans pickup was on the street and the garbage people I guess we're upset and just looked at us and drove off without taking our trash. They never got out nor said anything. The workman was here only a few minutes and gone. The sanitation people never came back. It would have been little effort to take the items. Is this usual here?

Even if I had protested that the workman move his truck, he wouldn't have been here any longer as his visit was so brief.

Call the trash company. They would have sent out a truck to pick it up.

Wow! We went through a period of several weeks while 2 of my neighbors where having significant work done on their houses, several workers truckers parked on the street, and as I recall never had a problem with trash or recycling pickup. Maybe they did not see the items due to the workers truck?
