Default Garden fertilizer,paint, etc

The previous owner of the house we purchased in TV left behind paint, fertilizer and other items that are out dated and need to be disposed of. Where can I bring these items?

Just an idea:

Latex paint can be dried and thrown in the trash in most communities. Just leave the lid off for a while until it is solid.

Why not just use the fertilizer on your yard or open areas around the community.
