I had mine replaced last week. These guys did a GREAT job. Very responsive and knew what they were doing! Owned by a Veteran. Highly recommend.

There is a trick to getting the battery out of the later model Yamaha carts, your need to remove a bolt on the heat shield using about a 12 inch extension and 10 mm socket.
If you cannot do this yourself, then I have used Todd Casey and Willies mobile cart service, my neighbor has used Cart fixer, and any of these can do this work.
VT, would you preemptively replace a 5 year old, original, battery in a Yamaha gas cart if it seems to be working fine?

I would be watching how the cart operates and as soon as I noticed a slight delay in starting, it would be getting a new battery. IMHO, you are well beyond the normal lifetime of a battery. If you are doing this yourself, when you take the battery to the automotive parts store, they can test the battery and let you know what its condition is.

I have been noticing that. I guess I better get it changed. Thanks.
