Default Gas Oven issues

Hello All - We live south of 44 in a Designer home and I have been having issues with the gas oven. All the burners work and the broiler in the oven works on both hi/low but the bake feature seems to have stopped working.
I have tried to reset everything and even unplugged it for a few hours. Has anyone else had similar issues or suggest anyone that can further investigate or repair it?

Thanks in advance

My niece's gas oven stopped working due to a bad igniter. Replacing that fixed the problem. However, her oven was much older than yours - a failure for her was not unexpected while yours may still be under warranty.

Might be helpful if mentioning what brand and model?

OP, have you tried youtube to see if some has reported problems and suggestions for repairs? Also if you do a search with the make and model of your stove you may get some specific information. Finally have you contacted the manufacturer regarding this problem?

South of 44 many of the Designer homes have the same GE gas ranges. Home built in 2021 and jgb645sek3ss is the model. I also called to see if it was still under warranty and unfortunately it was not.

Thanks to all for the replies and I agree it might be the igniter and will look for the part. I watched a video on the replacement and seems pretty straight forward.

Don't folks who live in "Designer Homes" go out for dinner every day? Why would anyone need an oven?

Before buying the part you can remove the panels to access the igniter and see if it glows hot when it is supposed to.

While you are in there, check for a second igniter. I'm remembering a comment that my niece "had to replace the other igniter as well." I don't recall the details but once you have things disassembled it would be worth just taking a look around.

If you signed up the warranty info (on the manufacturers website) when you moved in it should be under warranty. Nevertheless, go on the manufacturer’s website and look for nearest certified repair company. They usually make you look by zip code. My LG fridge was having icemaker issues and LG sent a guy out from Orlando to replace it for free.

Had a similar problem with my electric stove. Stove top worked but no oven. Turned out the motherboard died. Cost was more than $400. We elected to buy a new stove.

And you have to be like a soldier crawling underneath Barbwire to get something in the damn broiler! Who in the hell thought of that idea? 🙄

I traded in the stove and refrigerator after we moved into our new south of 44 designer home. They were POS if you asked me. I got the top of the line appliances that were wifi/SmartThings enabled, the range has a griddle middle, and each burner has a different size for different pans with 1 burner with 2 fire rings for the larger pots. All the knobs are in the front and light up blue when on. The refrigerator is the 5 door model.

Do a search on You Tube. State the problem and the make and model.
