Default Corruggated Stainless Steel Tubing and Electrical Wiring

There is one in particular requirement very important requirement concerning the installation of CSST in the Attics of homes. That is the CSST be kept at least 6 inches from all electrical wiring and under no circumstances should the Electrical wiring be touching the CSST or laid across it. There have been reports that the electrical wiring is in fact is indirect contact with the CSST by being laid on top of it or that the CSST is laid over the wiring if that is the case it is a public safety hazard. It would be well worth checking your home to see if CSST is in contact with your electrical wiring.

I could not find the source of your information. I did find the manufacturers installation instruction manual that as far as I can find does not warn about crossing electrical wires. see link: CSST Installation Instructions - Flexible Gas Piping, How To Install
caution, this document is 152 pages long.
I am still looking for the above cited warning.
Hope this helps.

There are a lot more references in Google, I just got tired of going through the sites.
Hope this helps.
