Default gasbuddy.com

This website GasBuddy.com - Find Low Gas Prices in the USA and Canada was mentioned during a news briefing last night. It gives the status of gas stations in our area.

Default Gasbuddy is a good tool

I was here for a job interview and looking at houses. The interviewing process went into Thursday afternoon. I left on Friday morning at 1:30am. On Thurs. I could not find any gas(there was a Shell in The Villages, but long line) and Gasbuddy was taking me to Leesburg. I had a little over a half a tank and figured that would get me to I10W back to Houston(and Harvey cleanup). Gasbuddy took me on back roads stating 24hr openings and gas. Yes they were open, but had run out of gas before Gasbuddy could upload info. I finally got gas off of I10W a ways away. It took me 8.5 hours to get out of Florida. I finally got home at 9:00pm last night. The rest areas along 10 had at least 1000 cars at each one until Mobile AL. People were parking along the road and walking at least a mile to the rest area. I thought the Gov. had told the entire state to evacuate.
But, back to Gasbuddy. Excellent tool, but gas may be out when you get there, and it does not tell you how long the lines are. I was surprised at 2:15am there were long lines where there was gas. It helped me find the station I finally used of the less traveled path. It was busy, but only 2 cars in front of me.

Just for the heck of it rode my close to empty motorcycle to station in front of Winn Dixie this morning. Had line but it was moving quickly due to people directing cars to pumps. :10 and I was in and out.
