Someone pointed out that BJs put in many many golf cart parking spaces so a locked gate does not make sense. At most maybe opening week until the crowds slow down. It is a block away from the state road.

Where is this gate you speak of? I'm new to Chatam, would love to get to BJs and Walmart by cart without going all the way to the bridge at Spanish Springs.

The gate is off Paradise dr. between 2 houses. It's in the middle of the picture; the path going towards the Urology place. That street leads all the way to Lowes, Aldi and Walmart. A little tricky at first, but worth finding out about!

If you have gone that route to Walmart then you have been through that gate.

Someone at BJ told me those are for Stonecrest subdivision people only.

Stonecrest has a gate that gives access to Walmart, Dollar Tree, and some other places.

You can only legally cross 441 @ SE 175th St the entrance to Spruce Creek South. The the Law!!

Come over the golf cart bridge stay left. Once you pass the Boone Gate look ������ on the left. After the ninth home see the trail on the left to the gate which hasn’t been working for 3 days.

Nobody ripped it apart this time.. I think it wore out from to much use. It’s going to be a parade once BJ’s opens. Have patience while waiting in line at the gate and don’t forget your gate card because there is no Red Button to push.

If they do, I would just laugh and laugh about it. The whole gate thing was and has always been stupid. It was TV pushing their weight …..

The “path”. keeps getting longer and further out of the Village. Carts were
trespassing on Duke property. Carts are suppose to stay on Villages property.

Call District Property Management 352-753-4022. They will tell you whether it’s true or not.

Duke transferred ownership and liability of the path over to Marion County before it was paved. You are not trespassing using the path.

Where do people get their crap info from?

Both Property Mgt or Villages Commercial Property Mgt had no idea that anything was happening to the gate - a person at Comm. Mgt. said he would check and get back to me???
