Default Sink Holes

We just recently purchased our home in St Catherine. I received a call today that a few houses in that area have sink Holes. Is anyone aware of the location?

I think they're on Altman Court just a couple houses in from Pagan Way.

Who called you? Did they give a description of the issue? In a pond, between houses, road, or open property. Other than the sink hole in the pond at Moyer, no one else has mentioned a new problem.

So is this a rumor, or someone trying to discourage new buyers. Kind of like the prison lights, loudspeakers, mine blasts, and so on.

Didn't witness the actual sinkholes but did see the remediation operation in person.

I suspect, with the millions of tons of fill required prior to home construction, there just has to be some random uneven settling.

I am a little surprised we do not hear more about larger than normal settling cracks in cement pads and block walls.
