Does anyone know if casement and awning style windows are offered as an option on new homes during the design process??

I designed our house in Tennessee (that we're selling) with all casements and some awnings. Casements and awnings are more energy effecient and much easier to take care of. In our garage on the back wall we have 3 awnings up off the floor that when the weather heats up I leave open all spring, summer, and fall. It lets the heat out but no rain can come in. I'll take a casement / awning over a double hung any day.

I have windows like that on my RV, you're right rain is no issue.

Which windows do U want to do?

Call ARC first, then if ok, ask your rep.

I'd replace all of the double hungs with casements and change the one double hung in the golf cart garage to a pair of 1 foot tall by 30 inch wide awnings about 6 feet up off the floor.
