Default Trashing a Microwave oven.

Have a small dead microwave (over stove type). Can it go out on garbage day? Recycle day? I know I can call but they are closed now and tomorrow is garbage pickup here.

Door was removed so no very tiny children or pets can lock themselves in.

The Villages bulk pick up service will take it. You have to call to make an appointment.

I think it depends on the area you are in but here in the Village of Pinellas I put out a broken wine refrigerator an our regular trash day and they picked it up so I think a microwave won't be a problem. Just put it out and if they don't take it call for a bulk pickup... it doesn't cost anything.
