Please tell all your friends, neighbors, golf partners, church members, club members, walking partners, swimming friends, bridge partners, enemies, pickle ball opponents, wellness center acquaintances, swimming buddies, gate attendants, store clerks, breakfast buddies, bicycling friends, motorcycle companions, passers by, aerobics partners or anybody else you can think of, about Talk of The Villages. The more members we can get, the better chance that the board will become self sufficient and continue for a long time.
At the same time, please, everytime you go into a store, be sure to tell them about Talk of The Villages and that there are 15,000 page views here every day. It is the number 1 advertising vehicle in the Villages and the ads are less than the newspaper, televising station or radio station. Have them check us out. |

Jan, I'm glad you recognize the great value of "word of mouth" advertising (and I do it for TOTV). Heck, I'd even go door to door for TOTV. ;D

On occasions, I have experienced strangers, while shopping, approach me in conversation regarding what's written on my tee shirts, i.e., I have tee shirts with hometown (Lexington, MA), vacation on Nantucket Island (MA), etc.
Hubby and I have TOTV tee shirts and have just started to wear them while shopping, or whatever around towns. Suggest that the more people wearing the TOTV shirts, the more awareness and word-of-mouth advertising. barb
