Default VA- Aid and Assistance

My 98 year old mother who is a WWII veteran herself is going into an ALF and I need to apply for the VA Aid and Assistance benefit she is entitled to. Would like to know if anyone has applied and received the benefit successfully and how did you proceed. Did you hire a Certified VA lawyer or use a Veterans Service Organization or even differently did you use Patriot Angels. Please let me know.
Thank you

Contact your congressman's office and they will assist you on how to go about getting the veterans aid she has earned.

Every county has a veterans service officer. Give the Sumter county office a call and they will help you. Their number is 352-689-4400.

The VA officer down in Pinellas in the building with the library is very helpful.
