Did a golf cart ride from Banberry to Southern Trace - beautiful day for a ride, but as I cruised down Morse and Buenavista I noticed the number of opposing carts with drivers doing 'man spreads' - your left knee extends out of the cart, a close call could clip it.
I've tried it, but found uncomfortable (skinny thighs maybe) but it seems popular - anyone had any close calls? Sumpter Bridge scares me anyway, but all those knees!!! |

I thought we were going to talk different golf carts not different sitting styles. From time to time my leg is out but I bring it in when carts are coming. Mostly my foot is on the dash. No close calls. Are you talking about the Sumter Bridge or is there another one?

If there is one thing a man is going to protect at all cost it would be Big Jim and the Twins.
I find it funny that anyone would take the time to voice concern over this issue. It is a forum for conversation so I think this should be in the NOTHING thread. |

there are a few bridges on golf courses that have low guardrails. I have wondered at times if anyone has had a foot dangling out the side of a cart and clipped one of those. That would be an ugly injury.
And the rest of you, perhaps you could share the link that has the guidelines for what one's first post should address? |
