Default Golf cart

I have A gas cart and electric cart. I was wondering with all the gas carts in the villages, is there a health issue with breathing in the fumes.

I would think there would be! I personally have a "choking" feeling when in the tunnels with them. I have a real issue with many things such as heavy perfumes, smoke from cigarettes/cigars, wood smoke and more. Don't have a diagnosis of asthma but wouldn't be surprised if it would come to that eventually.

No more than breathing in car fumes, cigarette fumes or any other fumes

I have a gas cart (EFI Yamaha) and have been curious as to all the posts regarding the "smell" of gas carts. I never smell anything.

You may have lost some of your sense of smell also?

Do you smell the fumes driving behind another gas cart?

Wazzamatta you?

Good morning everyone. It's a foggy day in The Villages. First I remember seeing this much fog and I can smell fine.

Isn't life in The Villages great? Things are so good that all we have to worry about are smelly carts!

If anyone driving an electric cart needs a tow...I'll be more than happy to give you a tow with my "smelly" cart. I'll bet you won't complain.

Default Electric carts

I have an acute sense of smell and the hydrochloric acid fumes from electric carts, especially in tunnels, burns my eyes and sensitive nostrils.

Buyer's choice Gas or elect. they both have their advantages and dis-vantages Here's thought, Buy respirator or gas mask, dawn it just before the tunnels.

I still have a pretty good nose!! Seems to me the gas smell in the tunnels are just a bit overstated IMHO. Hold your breath for just six seconds and you will be through the tunnel.
