If being near LSL is important to you, then it would be good to live near there.

We live in Osceola Hills and go to LSL every so often, but we drive to the Southern area several times a week. Yesterday, I drove there to play golf at Marshview and today we may go to Bradford to go for a walk or a bike ride.

To each his own.

Yea. And Disney started building the Magic Kingdom before owning the land for the parking lot.

I tell ya, the things people come up with.

We love our house and the neighborhood with it's parks but we really feel like second class citizens. Our agent told us that the golf cart bridge over the highway and our shopping center would be finished in the fall of 2019. Neither were finished and now they are putting the bridge over 44 to Chitty Chatty tonight. That Village was started six months after ours was completed. What gives? Have they forgotten about Marsh Bend and Fenny?

What’s interesting to me is the real frustration is no one from TV management communicates why there have been delays and what the new promise dates are
There is a lot of speculation from money issues to government approvals but few facts
I believe the owners in those area’s who relied on promise dates for the bridges and shopping are owed detailed explanations including new promise dates
The lack of communication adds to the frustration

Who made these promises? Was it in writing?

The best way to not be held accountable to meeting a promise date, is to not make one.

One has to wonder

One has to wonder why this 4th generation are bothering to build such elaborate Rec centers and doing so much nature conservation in the southern regions. Look at Everglades and the now much larger neighborhood Rec centers like Riverbend and Water Lilly. They are about making money and selling houses But I wouldn't agree with sell'em and forgetet'em. The thought planning and expenditure on elaborate Rec centers and facilities and nature conservation seems to be aimed at improving on the original vision and intention of the developer.

Yes they are probably making a 'ton' of money But they already made a ton of money off this place. I for one am glad they continue to develop this rather then packing it in and saying goodbye to the Villages and taking their Billions of dollars they already have and walking away.

If you have watched some of Gold Wing (drone footage of the construction) , they talk about the golf cart paths and show new paths as they prepare to complete bridges and connectivity between them all the way south to Fenney and Marsh cove. Due to liability and people just getting in the way, the Utube footage asks people not to cross barriers into construction zones, but it shows them doing it and so I would expect until it’s a safe area no carts on the area. Unfortunately, I would think connectivity for this area will be a 2021 event depending on construction and sales and safety factor. Watch it on Utube, the guy puts a new one about every three months. Gold wing productions on Utube.

Yes, there is a lot of good info there.
A link though to what you're talking about makes it so much easier so that every single person doesn't have to go searching.
Good though that you're reminding others that these videos exist!

Not in a contract, but there were generally available maps being handed out that clearly stated Magnolia Plaza Fall 2019 and Turnpike Bridge January 2020. Don Wiley shows a photo of said map in his latest video, with respect to Magnolia. I'm fine without either of these amenities, for now, and would be understanding of reasonable delays, especially any that are beyond the developer's control. But I'm with others with respect to facts and transparency. The lack of those only feeds the rumor mills which results in some totally ridiculous and illogical speculation.

If retailers don't want to come, not much TV can do.

And think how much more fun our life is because of "the rumor mills which result in some totally ridiculous and illogical speculation".

My attorney, aka my eldest son told me if it's not in writing, it's a lie.

Some people were told "connectivity by _______"

Some people were told "shops & stores by _______"

These some of some can be happy or be mad.
If mad, they can leave or stay and they can sue or not sue.
If leave, they will make a profit on their house.
If sue, they need to show financial losses or mental anguish.
Financial lost?? Cost of short ride to promised stores vs. existing stores???
Not sure how some of some will determine MA.

What did I miss in the above summary??

This topic is old and will not be settled on ToTV.

We should bring it to a constructive conclusion so everyone knows their options and can move forward.

:ho:

You forgot to add that Katie Belles would be here forever.

All plans don’t come in on time, for various reasons. I questioned the use of the word “promise”.
