Golf cart mileage
Everybody talks about how many miles they have on their golf cart where is it on the golf cart that tells you your total mileage

Nowhere on a stock golf cart. An optional aftermarket odometer/speedometer must be installed.

To get my mpg I watch the total miles for several weeks and then divide by how much gas I purchased in those weeks. I'm getting in the neighborhood of 50mpg.

Oh the Yamaha there is an hour meter on the fuel gauge. Again that can be replaced so it may of may not be correct on a used golf cart. We are here full time. Pre covid we used it more. Wild guestimate 40 miles per gallon we use 4 gallons or so a month our cart is 9 years old so 4x40=160 a month. so 160x12=1920 a year. Hour meter-sorry too lazy to look. I read somewhere the Yamaha engine is good for around 30,000 miles so it will only last us 16 years or so. Might be interesting to know who has the oldest golf cart still in use. For that matter I bet there is a golf cart junk yard somewhere. |

My 2018 Yamaha has a little over 10k miles on it. Fill it up about every week and a half w/ non-ethanol.
