When parking your golf cart in an angled parking spot like the ones around the squares, should the first cart in park on the left side of the spot or the right side of the spot?

I doubt it really matters as long as you leave space for the second golf cart.

I always try to park on the left side if I'm the first one in.
But that's just a personal preference...

Sort of like asking how to properly hang a roll of toilet paper.

My wife had brought this topic up in conversation before as it’s been discussed at some of her group outings.
The thought is that the cart on the left should pull all the way in and the one on the right stay back. This supposedly leaves room for the drivers door on the car in the next spot to the right to open more freely. I’m not sure if that works out but that’s what she heard. |

We had the same debate and netted out the same way. Park left front first if you are first in. The thinking was that every car/suv/truck that parks next to you has a driver and thus driver door that opens.

Either side, just leave room for another cart.

Absolutely.
I always change any I see going the other way. Sad, I know, but it is what it is! PS, You should see my sock drawer. A work of art! |

This supposedly leaves room for the drivers door on the car in the next spot to the right to open more freely. I’m unsure if that works out but that’s what she heard. One of the first things I learned upon moving here. It makes perfect sense unless someone backed their automobile into the spot but I rarely see this done. |

That is EXACTLY how it shows on the original patent application drawings.'
