That is one thing that has puzzled me since I've been coming to this forum. With as many people that live in TV that have come from NY and NJ, and the east coast in general, I would have expected the ratio of Liberals to Conservatives to be a little higher. Unlike others, I am probably the only person in TV who worked 14 years without a vacation, or any time off--because of that I was able to retire @ 52 back in 95'

I was taught how to invest ,be frugal when it counted and we reaped the rewards since 95' we I sold my businesses

Again, why do you find it necessary to brag about how much money you have? If anyone really cared about your wealth or work history they would ask.

When I came here in 2000, as someone who worked with and for the Republican Party for many years, I was aware of The Villages as a Republican bastion

Lot has changed. I, personally left the party. Others who would not embrace extremes have left. Not all became Democrats..I am now a Registered Independent and the fervor is leaving.

Your percentages were correct when Sarah Pain was welcomed as a goddess here, and certainly Fox keeps sending their folks here.

I think it is changing, but still considered, NOT conservative, but Republican. They are not the same any longer

I think you might be correct on this.
