After doing some research, Larry and I decided the EZ GO electric was the cart for us. Because of the suggestions here, we went to Town & Country in SS, rather than the factory store. Got the cart of our dreams, but after it was delivered and we headed out, WOW, we were hopping and bouncing...very rough ride.
Read here (thank you!) it could be the tires, so back to Town & Country and they were great...first tried replacing 2 of the tires, felt it was worse! so then they installed 4 new tires. The ride home was much improved. Just wanted to thank all for the great advise here and give a thumbs up to Town & Country too. jackie

I know I was one who recommended Town & Country highly. (I also recommended the new E-Z-GO model that goes up hills at it's maximum-rated speed--hope you got one of those!)
I'm glad--and not surprised--that you had such a good experience with the guys at Town & Country. After you've had your cart for awhile, buzz on by the back of their shop and have them check the tire pressures and "clean off" your upholstered seats. They recommend that you don't wash the upholstery with water and detergent. They suggest that until the seats really get dirty, that coming by and having them blow the dirt off and out with high pressure air is a much better solution. We've had our E-Z-GO with fairly light-colored seats for over two years and haven't found it necessary to clean them with water and detergent yet.
