Has anyone had any experience with Windows of Central Florida? We have four quotes to enclose our lanai with Windows and knee wall. All are close in price. Difference comes in length of time to complete. From 1-1/2 weeks to 4-5 weeks. This place is telling us the shortest amount of time.

Be very very careful, if someone says they can be done quickly-they might not have enough work, or they will do slip shod work- ask around and see who your neighbors used.Also, if time is important-put in a penalty clause for failure to complete on time

Most important very little or no money down--check their supply houses

We used them. About 1.5 weeks to complete once they started. They started about 4 weeks after we gave them the go-ahead. They had to order the windows (made to order) and get permits. The time scales were what they told us.

Good Luck, Ours was was estimated for 5-6 weeks, 4 1/2 MONTHS later it was completed. GREAT job very pleased with the work but don't talk about the length of time.

Shortage of materials ( pick anyone)
Sub Contractors let me down ( Electrical,painters etc ) your choice
Weather put me behind.
Waiting for inspector
The list goes on and on, Contractors excuses are Very creative.

And Don't go away for few days because Nothing will be done while your away.

We used CVS and they were very timely/efficient and did what they said they would do on time!!

Ask each of the bidders for their customer list with phone numbers, then start making calls. Don't allow them to give you references since they will only give you the best ones they have. You want the entire list, sign a non disclosure and call/visit.
