Redwitch,
This very same thing happened to me TODAY. I stopped at the first stop sign and then proceeded. I again stopped at the second sign and the person behind me beeped the horn and shouted out "Keep going; what are you stopping for?". Unfortunately, no police during that time.

Oh, by the way ........ the vehicle behind me was an SUV not a golf car this time; I think it was a Lexus RX450 but not sure.

I applaud the crack down on Azteca Loop. I use that route often and have observed it carries a lot of traffic. The residents living there deserve a break.

Thanks, TH, for sharing that very revealing clip.

I use to work with a gal that to her a stop sign was a waste of good sheet metal and her driving record could prove that out. At one time she had to attend a drivers improvement class to get 2 points taken off her record because the next week she was heading back to court on a speeding ticket and 2 more points. Had she not taken the class she would have lost her license for 2 years. She always kept her record about 2 points shy of the limit.

When I was a police officer in Jersey, we had a lady yell and scream about the speeding on her street. I set up radar and the first ticket I wrote for speeding was to her husband, he tried to give me a hard time until I told him who insisted that we do something about the speeding. I wonder how dinner was that night.

Well, I don't know . . . someone told Mr. K9-Lovers that S.T.O.P. stands for Squeal Tires On Pavement. But, he was in Canada at the time, so their laws must be different than in the U.S.

Default Kudos to Law Enforcement

The law is the law - STOP means STOP. Kudos to all the local law enforcement agencies that get out on our streets and actually enforce the laws as written. Yes, I understand speedometers are not totally accurate so I can agree with a little "kentucky windage" and officer discretion but basically, I like to see them enforcing the laws. STOP is not a hard concept to understand. I hope they do more of this thing. And if our local fire departments get the money from traffic tickets (which I seriously doubt happens) then that is great too - less taxes for us law abiding citizens. Quit your , obey the law, and enjoy your drive.

What about parking lot lines? ........suggestions? And none of them really apply to you?

On the line. over the line, across the lines diagonally, across the line perpendicularly; ...............doesn't matter,.......... the world is their oyster!!!
