Another really nice easy listening station is The Dove 105.5 FM out of Tampa.

Here's a twist... right now I'm listening to Pandora with my cell phone connected to my home entertainment center. Sounds awesome!

If you can find a good one, LMK. On occasion, I can get 97.3 out of Miami, which plays R&B. Being a blues fan, this is about the best I can do -- I have found no Central Florida blues or R&B station.

Good tip on Pandora. Buy some quality speakers for your PC (and they're not very expensive) and you're good to go.

Thanks for the "heads up" with Pandora. I went there and liked it so much that I signed up. After I gave my information and clicked the button, it said that I am already a member and signed up for it last year!!!!!

LOL Isn't it fun to get older????

Wifi radios not only receive Pandora programming but will also receive tons of radio stations around the country that have feeds to the internet. So, chances are you'll be able to pick up stations from your former home town.

Default Got three of them ..........

Being a musician, I kinda like 103.7 FM out of Orlando. Soft Jazz. 720 out of Hernando is good if and when you can pick them up. Big Band music Saturday morning. The third is Sirius 105, an adult comedy station.
The worst is the local station here, just like their TV channel. Haven't changed their music or commercials in years.

Neat bumper sticker. Went like this: "It's God's job to judge terrorists. Our job is to arrange the meeting!"

If you have a computer connection you can listen to any radio station in the world via your computer and it costs you nothing extra. Almost all radio station have a "listen live" option on their web sites. The quality is excellent and you can use google to find any radio web site. Save the Serious money so you don't have to help support Howard Stern and use some of the saved money for an internet connection.

My observation on the local station WVLG is somewhat different. Commercials pay the bills so they can be repeated but the format has changed somewhat in the last 3 years, my frame of reference. The daylight music has gone from 40s, 50s, 60s to a more "boomer" oriented oriented mix with more 70s and 80s music. I have even heard them play Lady GaGa several times over the last month.
