We have zoysia grass and the roots from the grass grow under the curbing and spread into the flower beds. We spray the grass and it kills the grass. The grass keeps coming back we need to stop the the roots from spreading under the curbing. Is there a way to stop this from happening?

I spray weekly, and bought a weed burner to burn up the grass after it dies. I have rocks, not mulch. Still a never ending battle. |

I got most of the runners, but they do come back with time. Not very much time, unfortunately, and I still had to pull up what had spread into the bed or the patio seams. |

Lowes and Home Depot sell plastic edging 6 inches deep. If you put that all the way down in the ground just outside the curbing, it will stop the grass from invading your plants. |
