Default Grocery store PA announcement

I was at the Publix in Southern Trace today, and some woman walks past me, angrily muttering "well, I'm not going to shop all over again". Maybe 5minutes later, I hear over the PA " attention shoppers. Please check the cart you are pushing, and make sure it's yours. If not, please come to the Customer Service area."

I can see how that would happen.

In The Villages, the odds favor that kid being a dog.

Guilty as charged... but never in Publix. One day I was shopping with my husband in Stew Leonards. I ‘m throwing lots of different food in my basket and looking around, while leaving my shopping cart with my husband. All of a sudden my husband runs over to me and tells me that the security guards said that there is something in my cart that wasn’t mine. Extremely confused and surprised, I look in my basket and see that they were referring to a paid bag of lobster rolls. They believed that it was unintentional- probably from the dumb bewildered look on my face, and off I went to complete my shopping. My husband was embarrassed, but I just had to laugh at myself because I have been known to walk away with a stray cart or two in the past. I’m getting better though!

Wouldn't a Stew Leonards be wonderful here ! Might even make me forget about hoping for Costco.

Stuff appears in our cart all the time, when other half is not looking.
