As a wanna be villager, wondering how much the actual cost is to play golf at the championship courses. We have visited and enjoyed the stay, looking forward to the move. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Still a wannabe resident myself, but we have spent two months (Feb. and March) in TV the last three years. We don't play the country club courses in TV, because of the cost in the winter. We play continental country club, the plantation, and the links at spruce creek when we want to play a regulation course, and all three are in good shape. We play them for less than $30 with a cart and always run into other Villagers playing them. In the summer the Villages CC courses have great values if you are willing to play in the afternoon, which would not bother me as I play in Missouri and the heat here is hotter and equally humid much of the time. Of course the exec courses are free to residents.
