Arrow If You Installed a Pool Recently....

I am trying to get a price range of installing the gas line from existing service to a pool heater. I know plumbers do this but need a guesstimate on price. Thanks.

I don't have a price, as I have an electric heater. In my opinion, unless you have a hot tub attached to the pool that requires quick heat, you don't need a gas heater. Electric heaters in Florida work fantastically well, and are far cheaper to run than a gas heater.

We went with a standalone hot tub and always keep it at 100+ degrees. We have an electric heater for our pool, and always keep it at 88-90 degrees (depending on time of year).

Any of the plumbers should be able to give you a dollar per foot for the trench and piping, then add at least a couple of hundred for the final connections, that should get you in the ballpark.
