Relatively new to TV. Saw where there's a show at Savannah Center tomorrow - A tribute to James Taylor; my wife's favorite. Trying to find two good seats to surprise her but looks like the show is essentially sold out. Is there anywhere people who bought seats but later can't go post them for sale?

I highly doubt there is much of a secondary market for tickets to cover bands at a small venue like the Savannah Center, costing between $35 and $55? But now I feel guilty, we are going to see the real deal, not a cover band, followed by a fireworks show, at Tanglewood on the Fourth of July.

I agree - not likely a big resale venue or ticket but did figure it is likely common for people who had tickets not to be able to go...even at the last minute. Just curious if there as a typical spot people would look to either get their money back to sell the tickets or even just give them away if they could not go so the seats don't go to waste.

Maybe you already have, but I suggest calling the ticket office and ask about cancelations.

When we can't make a show , we contact the ticket office and they buy them back as long as it's before the show.
I'd guess whatever you see on their site is what is out there.

When you buy tickets online, you had the option of printing out your tickets on your printer immediately. You can still print however, they will not let you print until seven days before the concert. Apparently, there had been some scamming going on where someone was selling the ticket pdf to multiple buyers, so when you went to the concert the ticket scanner flagged your tickets as had already been scanned.
My point is, I would not buy one of these tickets on the secondary market. Only buy tickets that were bought at one of the ticket outlets. These look like typical show tickets not home computer print outs. Hope I'm making myself clear.

Another point, if I wanted to sell my tickets, since I'm a villager and have an account with the ticket office, they would take them back. There would be no need to sell them on the open market .

You can also put your tickets on account, to be used for a different show at a later date.

Make a post on Nextdoor or Facebook pages - ask if anyone has tickets they are not gonna use. Folks post tickets all the time when situations change and they can't use them.

Bring them to the box office. You’ll get a credit to your acct to use the money at a later date.

The box office allows folks who can't use their tickets to turn them in for a credit. So you might keep checking back. I'm guessing they put them on sale when that happens.

Not sure about this venue but most hold a small amount of tickets for vips. If they don't show they sell them last minute.

I have seen people post them on here in the FOR SALE area and also on Nextdoor. You might wanna check there, too. Good luck. I hope you get some.
