Wonder if anyone has replaced the siding on their home in TV? If so, were you able to replace with a better grade of siding?

Some siding was replaced, but most was just taken loose and checked and properly renailed. With the siding warrenty being extended several years, you have plenty of time to discover problems. Better siding would probably be all at your cost. The quality of the siding wasn't really the problem, it was poor application.

siding in general, usually doesn't cost much to upgrade compared to the builder's grade used, and sure you can if re-doing the home. Like the first post, often it's the application.
