Sitting reading previous threads on TOTV, I have yet to come across any mention of any computer repair stores or techs in the villages. You know the type that does yearly tune-ups, removes viruses, saves data and pictures when hard drives crash. This is not a make or break issue on my decision to move down there, just another topic I am researching to be prepared for when I arrive.

May I suggest that you hit "Search" and type in "computer repair," where you'll find various threads on the subject. We had really good luck with MMD Computers in Lady Lake, 352-750-3707.

Ditto MMD. They recovered data on a hard disk crash that I was sure was gone. They are excellent and reasonable.
