always would figure that people would love to buy a new house and then sell it a year later for a nice profit. . I expect some people do this regularly

I’m content staying put, but will be curious what houses will list for in Richmond once the one- year mark passes this October/November/December. Many homes here were purchased by investors, and I’m sure some will be looking to “flip”.

Never understood it. Once you pay the realtor, most years not a huge profit. This past year, it would have been a huge loss. The profit is holding the house for a longer period. The houses I bought in 2014 and 2017 have appreciated a LOT. One I will live in soon. The 2017 I will sell in 2027 for a nice profit.
