Old World Paving used to be the largest company installing driveway pavers in The Villages. The owner also owned Pristine Paver Cleaning, which used a trailer-mounted steam and rotary brush cleaning process which was very effective. Now if you try to call either Old World or Pristine, their phone doesn't answer and the recorded message says that their mailbox is full.

Have both companies gone out of business? Does anyone have any suggestions of other companies doing the repair and cleaning/sealing of paver-covered driveways? Even though the pace of new home construction and sales are peaking, the contractors installing and servicing driveway pavers seem to have disappeared.

I used Old World back in 2005 to put pavers in my driveway. They did a terrible job and today my pavers have cracking problems. The owners name was Dave Broberg out of Fruitland Park. He had to change the name of the business because of the bad reputation he was getting in TV. I am looking for some replacement pavers.

Dave Broberg and Jeff Rand have done business in this area for quite awhile and under various business names - Old World, Pristine, and Custom Windows & Interior Design, Inc., which, according to the Florida Department of State, Division of Corporations, is not really a corporation at all. They arrear to be one of those business entities that does poor work until their bad reputation chases away business, then they change names to get under the radar and continue down the same path of poor workmanship and broken contracts.
