Tis the time of year to start making Strawberry Shortcake!
Strawberries at Aldi were $1.69 a pkg. Here is my shortcake recipe!

Strawberry Shortcake

3 eggs
2 cups sugar
Stir eggs and sugar together until well mixed

2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
Mix these two ingredients together with wisk so blended

1 cup of water

Mix dry ingredients into egg and sugar mix a bit at a time, alternating with water, mixing each add in

Grease and flour 9 X13 pan

Bake at 350 for 45 minutes

Let cool

add your mashed strawberries and whip cream ENJOY!!
