help - car mechanic recommendation
We are down here renting for a month and the car is throwing a mis-fire code. At home I would take care of it but I am on vacation... Any local mechanics that you have had good experiences with?? Thanks.. Patch

Accutech
Bobby at Accutech is our go to mechanic. Very honest, skilled, and reasonable. It is on 301 just south of 466 next to the gold driving range.

I really like Tri County on 441 near Lowe's. Fair, knowledgeable, honest and your car is ready when they promise it. Their biggest minus is they don't always communicate as good as they should. I've recommended them to many and all have been very happy with their work.

Accutech gets our vote also
Saved us hundreds of dollars and VERY knowledgeable and saves us long trip to the dealership in Orlando.

I have 2 import cars and if I don't have to take them to a dealer then I found AutoMaster in Leesburg. Owned by a British mechanic, ASE certified techs, latest bay equipment and best of all they know their stuff and are honest with reasonable costs. They also had good past reviews.

Lake Sumter Transmission in Leesburg is an excellent and reputable shop. Diagnoses your problem first, gives a quote, you decide what to do. I've been using them for several years with nothing but great service! 352-787-4640 ask for Bobby, Service Mgr.
