And so it begins. Last week jblum said she had seen single lovebugs. Today, while on De La Vista, between shots, a cojoined lovebug couple flew into my cart.
Not sure if this is particularly early, but in all the years I've lived here, I've not seen them out in March. |

During love bug season, my husband always puts a coat of spray wax on the nose of our cars and about every 4 days wipes it and all the bugs off. It makes it easy to take them off and they wont stick to the paint. He then add another coat of wax and this continues thru the season. Hope this helps anyone out there who doesn't do this and gets annoyed trying to remove them.

April and September, 3 to 4 weeks each season. And they like light colors.

I think lovebugs usually show up in May. We usually leave TV around April 20, and I've never seen a lovebug in five years. Everything is early this year ... our magnolia is almost ready to blossom. It makes sense that lovebugs and mosquitos will also show up early.
