Default Here Kitty, Kitty

One of my neighbors just told me that they saw a Florida Panther run down Tanglewood Place and turned left down Canal Street toward Largo. Approximately 160 pounds, and about the size of a Great Dane!

If it is a Florida panther it knows it's home.

Probably just one of the cougars that has been displaced from Katie Belle's.

Kind of doubt this report...population...100...

Range: The historic range of the Florida panther extended from Florida to Louisiana throughout the Gulf Coast states and Arkansas. Today, the only place with wild Florida panthers is the southwestern tip of Florida.

If it's a Carolina panther it may be lost and ticked off!

This is not the first report of a panther sighting in TV.

More than likely it was a large bobcat and the size gets larger every time the story is told.

Keep your small dogs and cats indoors as long as this animal is in the area.

I saw it, too. It was about the size of Clifford the big red dog.
